Biografia di Guido Peyron

Nacque a Firenze il 15 gennaio del '98 da padre piemontese e madre lombarda.
Studiò a Firenze all'Istituto Tecnico. partecipò come volontario alla prima ed alla seconda guerra mondiale.
Nel 1920-21 corse in automobile.
Cominciò a dipingere nel 1924 sotto la guida di Lodovico Tommasi. Nel 1942 fu nominato titolare della cattedra di figura disegnata al Liceo Artistico di Firenze. Morì a Firenze nel 1960.

Pubblicò nel 1956 "Note sulla cucina e altre cose" edito da Vallecchi. Molte le recensioni di questo libro, fra cui quella di Orio Vergani su "Il corriere della Sera".

I PRIMITIVI, RAFFAELLO, GLI IMPRESSIONISTI (COMPRESI CEZANNE, GAUGUIN E VAN GOGH) SONO TENORI, I VENEZIANI E I MACCHIAIOLI BARITONI O BASSI BARITONALI, SCIPIONE E' BASSO, REMBRANDT BASSO PROFONDO. EBBENE, PEYRON E' TENORE. UN TENORE LIMPIDO E FERMO, CHE CANTA A VOCE SPIEGATA O A MEZZA VOCE, SEMPRE CON LO STESSO AMORE

BIOGRAPHY (From Art Gallery Mentana)

He was born in Florence on January the 15th 1898. His father was from Piemonte and his mother was from Lombardia. He studied at the Technical Institute and he partecipated as a volunteer at First World War and Second World War. 

In 1920 and 1921 he was a car racer.

He started to paint in 1924. His teacher was Lodovico Tommasi. In 1942 he became professor at the Art School in Florence. He died in 1960.

He published in 1956 “Cooking Notes and other stuff”  edited by Vallecch. The book was positively reviewed also by Orio Vergani on the Corriere della Sera.

IN MY OPINION WE COULD DISTINGUISH PAINTERS IN TENORS, BARITONES, AND BASS, LIKE WE DO FOR SINGERS. PRIMITIVES AS RAFFAELLO, THE IMPRESSIONISTS (INCLUDED CEZANNE, GAUGUIN AND VAN GOGH) ARE TENORS, VENETIAN PAINTERS AND MACCHIAIOLI ARE BARITONS AND BASS, SCIPIONE IS A BASS, REMBRANDT DEEP BASS. 

WELL, PEYRON IS A TENOR, A CRYSTALLINE AND STRICT TENOR, A TENOR WHO SINGS WITH LOUD VOICE, ALWAYS WITH SAME LOVE
